On Saturday August 29th, Rombout members marched in the Plattekill Fire Department's 100th anniversary parade. Due to the amazing effort of the members attending, Rombout was awarded trophies for "Best Ladder" and the coveted "Best Overall". Thank you to all the members who participated and to all those who helped clean the apparatus and those who worked behind the scenes to put us on top of the approximately 30 fire companies who competed. This is the final parade of the 2026 season and members should take pride in all the hardware we worked so hard for to win, and for honoring our amazing marching tradition.
