Benevolent Association
Purpose
Rombout Exempt Volunteer Firemens Benevolent Association was formed on April 4, 1973 by an act of NY state. The Benevolent Association accepts foreign fire insurance tax monies (commonly referred to as two percent tax money) for the care and relief of indigent and disabled firefighters and their families of the Rombout Fire Company. The first Organizational meeting was held September 20, 1973. The Benevolent Association is 501(c)(4) organization. The EIN is 20-5633263.
