| Rombout and Mobile Life were dispatched to a priority 1 auto accident rollover with possible entrapment at 19:27. Upon arrival of command, Interstate 84 westbound was closed between exit 44 and 46, one vehicle was rolled over on its side, with another vehicle and a tractor trailer involved. Command checked for entrapment and injuries. No entrapment was confirmed and a second ambulance was requested. Command advised Dispatch of a large fuel spill. Command advised incoming apparatus of spill, to start spill mitigation. Absorbent pads were applied as well as large quantity of speeding dri.
Village of Fishkill 42-13 was called for additional supplies. Units worked to clean up spill and assisted with traffic control. Rombout and Village of Fishkill returned to service and Interstate 84 westbound reopened at 22:04 pm |
