| At Rombout Fire Company, our mission has always been about more than just responding to emergencies—it’s about protecting and supporting the community we call home. But true safety isn't a one-way street. When neighbors know neighbors, and residents connect directly with their local first responders, we build a foundation that keeps all of us secure. That is why we are thrilled to attend this year's National Night Out at Geering Park! On Tuesday, August 4, we invite you, your family, and your neighbors to join us for an evening dedicated to unity, safety, and community pride. Under this year’s theme, "Stronger together, safer together," we are bringing everyone together to celebrate the incredible spirit of Fishkill. The Details When: Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM What’s Happening? We have a fantastic evening planned for all ages. Come out and enjoy: Meet Your Local First Responders: Chat with the team from Rombout Fire Company, check out our trucks and gear, and connect with representatives from multiple local law enforcement and neighboring fire agencies. Community Groups: Meet the local organizations and neighbors working hard every day to make our town a better place. Live Music & Entertainment: Enjoy great live tunes and a high-energy atmosphere perfect for a summer night. Food Trucks & More: Skip cooking dinner! We’ll have local food trucks on-site serving up delicious bites throughout the event. Safety Starts with Connection A connected community is a safer community. National Night Out is the perfect opportunity to meet the folks living down the street, ask us questions about fire safety, and see firsthand how our local agencies work hand-in-hand to protect you. Grab your lawn chairs, bring the kids, and invite a neighbor. Let’s make Fishkill stronger and safer, together. We can’t wait to see you there! Help us spread the word by sharing this post, and let's pack the park on August 4! |
