Fishkill, NY– On August 11 2025, at 5:19 AM, Rombout Fire Company was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 70 Mountainview Road. While investigating the active structure fire, Asst. Chief Lucariello collapsed at the scene. He was immediately transported to St Luke’s Cornwall hospital for treatment, then flown to Westchester Medical Center. Asst. Chief Lucariello is currently in critical condition under the care of leading cardiac specialists.
