Bridging Generations: A Night to Remember

Last night, our firehouse was filled with laughter, stories, and a whole lot of pride as we hosted our Old Timers / New Members Night. It was an incredible evening that brought together the roots of our department with the bright future ahead.

Older members shared stories that reminded us of how far we’ve come, while new faces brought fresh energy and enthusiasm. Seeing generations of firefighters side by side—exchanging handshakes, memories, and wisdom—was a powerful reminder of the bond that makes our department more than just a team.

To everyone who showed up, whether you’ve been with us for decades or just joined last week—thank you. Your presence made the night special, and your dedication continues to shape the legacy of Rombout.
