Online Donations

The Rombout Fire Company has recently received many questions about our annual fund drive. Each year Rombout Fire Company solicits donations from the Rombout Fire District residents. This year Rombout Fire Company has joined the Community Foundation of Dutchess County to help with the administration of our annual fund drive. Established in 1969, the Community Foundation administers more than 445 charitable funds established by donors who primarily live in Dutchess, Putnam and Ulster counties. Since the Foundation's inception, more that $15 million in grants and scholarships have been awarded throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond.

Rombout Fire Company has established the "Rombout Fire Company Annual Appeal Fund" with the Community Foundation, who will accept all donations, for public, charitable purposes, on the Fire Company's behalf. With the help of the Community Foundation of Dutchess County, the Rombout Fire Company is now able to accept online donations.

The Community Foundation of Dutchess County will process the donation and if desired will mail you a letter of confirmation for your tax records.
